We're a busy general practice located 45 minutes from Adelaide CBD and we're looking to expand our GP Team to meet our exceptional growth. Our purpose is to provide a high quality, holistic approach to patient care. We are committed to promoting good health, well-being and disease prevention to all patients.
Gawler has a local hospital, private and public schools (including Trinity Gawler Campus), comprehensive sporting facilities, public transport, easy access to Adelaide via the northern express way and a rural community feel. It's the best of both worlds. Our practice is located in a prominent location with plenty of parking, mixed billing, fully computerised, accredited practice, with a largely family patient base.
We have a small but experienced team of GPs, expert administrative support and well-appointed treatment rooms with registered nurses. We're currently only open fortnightly Saturdays from 1:00pm to 4.30pm

The Essentials
- MBBS or Equivalent
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Must have FRACGP or equivalent
- A record of ongoing professional development with a College of General Practitioners

Medical Receptionist – Administration
We are looking for experienced medical receptionists who is committed to quality medical care for our community.
This position requires an reliable, enthusiastic and committed person, who will take pride in providing excellent administrative and clerical support.
The successful applicant will:
- Provide comprehensive customer-focused service to both internal and external patients.
- Manage the clinic bookings, billings, appointments for Doctors, allied health professionals, nurses and patients
- Carry on assigned tasks in addition to the daily jobs such as Scanning, Follow up, Recalls, SMS reminders, daily batching etc.
- Manage and follow up outstanding fees
- Review and process medical practitioner correspondence
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Medical Reception
- Previous experience in Best Practice software
- A commitment to the provision of superior customer service
- Strong computer skills
- A flexible and collaborative approach to working within a team
- An understanding of medical terminology
